Privacy policy
How Portishead Roofing Company handles the information you give us.
Who we are
This website is run by Portishead Roofing Company, a roofing business serving Portishead and the surrounding areas. If you have any question about your information, call us on 0800 494 7291.
What we collect
When you use the quote form we collect what you enter: your first name, phone number, email address if you give one, your town or postcode, and a description of the roof problem. When you phone us, we may note your name, number, address and details of the job.
Why we use it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, arrange a visit, give you a quote and carry out and guarantee any work you ask us to do. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing that contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business and keeping records of guaranteed work.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only where needed to do the job, for example with our website host, which stores form submissions, or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted when they are no longer needed. Records of work we carry out are kept for as long as the guarantee runs, and as long as needed for tax and legal purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
